Application for Utility Services

Applications for water, sewer, and garbage services in the Town of Victoria can be filed at the town office.  The current deposit fee to open an account is $175.00.  The application can be found below in the Related Documents section.

Utility Billing Policy

Water meters are normally read between the 25th and 5th of the month.  

You will be receiving a monthly water/sewer bill, via mail.  This bill is for services rendered approximately 30 days prior to the bill date.

Payment can be made at the town office, the dropbox outside the town office, by mail, or by the other payment options listed in the Payment Options tab.

Payment is due by the 15th of each month.

Accounts not paid by the due date (or next business day in the event of a holiday or weekend) will be assessed a 10% penalty.

Accounts not paid by the 25th of the month will be assessed an additional $20.00 late fee.

Accounts not paid by the 6th of the following month from the due date will be assessed an additional 10% penalty. Late notices will be mailed on the 6th (or next business day in the event of a holiday or weekend).

Accounts not paid by the 20th of the following month from the due date will be assessed an additional 10% penalty.

Accounts not paid by the 30th of the following month from the due date will have the water shut off and will be assessed an additional $20.00 fee for restoring water to the service address.

The oldest outstanding bill and associated fees and interest must be paid to have the service restored.

Disconnection guidelines:

Residential customers will not be disconnected from service for nonpayment of bills or fees on Fridays, weekends, state holidays, or the day immediately preceding a state holiday.

Residential customers will not be disconnected from service when the forecasted temperature is at or above 92 degrees Fahrenheit within 24 hours following the scheduled disconnection.

To ascertain the projected temperature, the utility shall refer to the forecasted local temperature provided by the National Weather Service where the customer to be disconnected is located.
