Help Wanted: Maintenance Laborer

The Town of Victoria is currently accepting applications for a maintenance laborer. This position requires the ability to perform heavy physical labor including refuse collection, heavy lifting, motorized equipment operations, water and sewer line repairs and installation, etc. Graduate from high school or GED preferred. Candidate must possess a valid Virginia driver’s license. Ability to obtain Virginia Department of Transportation Basic Work Zone Traffic Control Training and Flagger certification. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. Applications may be obtained at the Victoria Municipal Building 1809 Main St. Victoria, Virginia, during regular business hours or online at www.victoriava.net. Interested candidates must submit a completed Town of Victoria application to the Victoria Municipal Building located at 1809 Main Street, Victoria, VA 23974. The initial cutoff for applications for the first interview will be Friday, May 30, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. Applications will continue to be taken until position is filled.
This position requires submission to random drug tests. Any job offer will be conditional until completion of a background check and completion of a drug test.
