Carol R. Watson Honored for Years of Service

The Victoria Town Council honored retiring Mayor Carol R. Watson at the their July 14, 2020 meeting. A resolution adopted by council was presented recoginizing her service to the community. Mrs. Watson served as mayor from July 2000 until June 2020. Prior to her term as mayor she served as a council member for the Town of Victoria and a supervisor for the Lunenburg County Board of Supervisors. Mrs. Watson is retiring with 39 years of public service to the Town of Victoria and Lunenburg County. Her service and dedication will be long remembered and is greatly appreciated.
