HELP WANTED: POLICE OFFICER
The Town of Victoria is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The position of Police Officer involves the routine performance of general police duties which may include patrol, criminal investigation, crime prevention, traffic control, accident investigation, and any other duties required by department policy or town ordinance. Applicants must be 21 years of age, high school graduate or equivalent, possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License, must be a U. S. citizen, excellent physical condition, excellent reputation, and moral character. Current Virginia police officer certification desired but not required. A copy of the job description may be obtained at the town office. Applications may be obtained at the Victoria Municipal Building 1809 Main St. Victoria, Virginia, during regular business hours or online at www.victoriava.net.
